Who you are
You have a strong background in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) — your experience includes creating and managing 3D models and drawings that facilitate multi-disciplinary coordination. You understand the importance of developing standards that enhance collaboration among engineering teams, ensuring that design decisions are well-coordinated and efficient.
Your technical skills are complemented by your ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders — you can translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for team members and clients alike. You thrive in environments where you can contribute to the development of innovative solutions that drive project success.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development of single and multi-trade coordination models for Last Energy's Balance of Plant and Nuclear Island power products. You will create and manage 3D models, ensuring that all associated data is accurate and up-to-date. Your work will involve coordinating design and engineering decisions across a multi-disciplinary engineering team, which requires a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
You will also play a key role in developing BIM/VDC standards that will guide the team's practices and enhance overall project efficiency. This includes collaborating with engineers and designers to ensure that all models meet the necessary specifications and standards. Your contributions will be vital in streamlining workflows and improving the quality of deliverables.
