Who you are

You have a strong background in Building Information Modeling (BIM) with experience in developing and maintaining detailed 3D models using industry-standard software such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. Your expertise includes performing clash detection, model coordination, and constructability reviews to identify and resolve conflicts early in the design and construction phases. You are adept at leading BIM coordination efforts for multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring seamless collaboration among various engineering disciplines. You understand the importance of effective model management and are committed to fostering strong BIM practices throughout the project lifecycle. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are excited about contributing to innovative projects that support SpaceX's mission to enable human life on Mars.

Desirable

Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects and familiarity with construction processes will be advantageous. A background in architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering disciplines is also beneficial. You are a proactive communicator who can effectively collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the integration and coordination of BIM within various projects at SpaceX, particularly as the Starship program advances. You will develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models that encompass architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines. Your responsibilities will include performing clash detection and model coordination to ensure that conflicts are identified and resolved early in the design and construction phases. You will also conduct constructability reviews to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness. As a key technical resource, you will support project teams and promote strong BIM practices throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that project objectives are met.
