Who you are

You are an aspiring software engineer eager to gain hands-on experience in a production environment. You have a foundational understanding of software engineering principles and are excited about contributing to scalable and reliable systems. You enjoy solving complex problems and are passionate about building applications that enhance user experiences. You thrive in collaborative settings and are looking forward to learning from experienced engineers.

You have familiarity with modern programming languages and frameworks, particularly Go, TypeScript, and React. You are comfortable working with cloud services like AWS and have a basic understanding of databases, specifically CockroachDB. You are open to feedback and eager to improve your coding skills while contributing to meaningful projects.

What you'll do

As a Full Stack Engineering Intern, you will spend 12 weeks working closely with our product engineering teams. You will participate in the end-to-end development of new features, contributing code that will be deployed within LaunchDarkly. You will apply your knowledge of software engineering principles to support the development of our SaaS products, focusing on areas such as Feature Management and Observability. You will work under the guidance of senior software engineers, learning best practices and design patterns while contributing to exciting projects.

You will be involved in writing clear and well-structured code, collaborating with team members to ensure that features meet user needs and are delivered on time. You will also have the opportunity to engage in discussions about system architecture and design, gaining insights into how to build scalable applications. This internship is a great opportunity to develop your skills and make a real impact on our platform.
