Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in managing and operating datacenter environments, with hands-on experience in server hardware and enterprise IT components. Your customer-oriented mindset drives you to provide exceptional support and service in a fast-paced environment. You are familiar with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of server systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.
You possess good knowledge of Linux systems and understand the intricacies of datacenter operations. Your ability to troubleshoot hardware issues and perform upgrades or downgrades on server components is second nature to you. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with your team to ensure that all operations run smoothly and meet customer expectations.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for the setup and commissioning of complex IT structures within the datacenter. You will handle the provisioning of hardware, software, and other services provided by Leaseweb. Your duties will include the configuration, installation, relocation, and decommissioning of servers and other hardware in our Frankfurt datacenter. You will also provide customer support, assisting with the installation of servers and other components within the datacenter.
You will manage the upgrade and downgrade of server components, including storage and hard drives, and ensure the timely exchange of server components and entire servers, handling all relevant administrative tasks such as RMA processing. Testing of servers and server components will also be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that all systems are operational and meet the required standards.
