GRE Tutor (Contract)

Who you are

You are an experienced GRE tutor with a strong understanding of both the Quantitative and Verbal sections of the GRE exam. You have achieved a GRE score in the 90th percentile or higher, demonstrating your mastery of the material. Your prior tutoring or teaching experience has equipped you with the skills to explain complex ideas clearly and keep students motivated and accountable. You are adaptable and can tailor your teaching methods to meet the individual needs of each student, ensuring they feel supported throughout their preparation journey.

You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to build rapport with students and create a positive learning environment. You are organized and detail-oriented, capable of tracking student progress and adjusting study plans as necessary. Your passion for education and helping others achieve their goals drives you to continuously improve your tutoring techniques and stay updated on GRE test formats and strategies.

What you'll do

In this role, you will work one-on-one with students to assess their strengths and gaps in knowledge. You will build customized study plans tailored to each student's needs, focusing on core concepts and test-taking strategies. Your responsibilities will include teaching essential GRE material, providing practice questions, and guiding students through mock exams to track their progress toward target scores. You will also collaborate with the Leland team to ensure a high-quality student experience, sharing insights and feedback to enhance the tutoring process.

You will have the flexibility to set your own schedule and rates, allowing you to balance your tutoring commitments with other professional or personal pursuits. As a remote tutor, you will deliver sessions virtually, utilizing various online tools and resources to create an engaging learning experience. Your contributions will directly impact students' success and help them achieve their educational and career aspirations.
