Leland is seeking a GMAT Tutor to assist students in preparing for the GMAT exam. You'll create personalized study plans and teach core concepts across various sections of the exam. This role requires prior tutoring experience and a strong GMAT score.

Who you are
You are an experienced GMAT tutor with a strong track record of helping students prepare for standardized tests. You have achieved a GMAT score in the 90th percentile or higher, demonstrating your mastery of the exam content. Your prior tutoring or teaching experience has equipped you with the skills to assess students' starting points and create personalized study plans tailored to their needs. You possess a clear and structured approach to breaking down complex problems, making it easier for students to grasp challenging concepts.
You thrive in a virtual teaching environment, utilizing technology to connect with students and deliver engaging lessons. Your ability to teach core concepts and test strategies across the Quantitative, Verbal, and Data Insights sections of the GMAT is essential. You are patient and supportive, helping students build accuracy, pacing, and confidence as they prepare for test day.
What you'll do
As a GMAT Tutor at Leland, you will work with students preparing for the GMAT exam, guiding them through the Quantitative, Verbal, and Data Insights sections. Your responsibilities will include assessing each student's starting point and developing personalized study plans that cater to their unique learning styles. You will teach core concepts and effective test strategies, ensuring that students understand the material thoroughly.
You will help students build their accuracy and pacing through practice tests and targeted exercises, providing constructive feedback to enhance their performance. Your role will also involve fostering a supportive and encouraging learning environment, where students feel comfortable asking questions and seeking clarification on difficult topics. You will set your own hours and rates, allowing for flexibility in your schedule while maintaining a commitment to delivering high-quality tutoring sessions.
