Overview

LendingTree is hiring an Entry-Level DevOps Engineer to support reliable software delivery by maintaining and improving CI/CD workflows and automation practices. You'll work in a hybrid schedule in Charlotte, NC, focusing on build, deployment, and operational tasks.

Who you are

You are an entry-level DevOps Engineer with 0-2 years of relevant experience, eager to learn and contribute to a team focused on reliable software delivery. You have a foundational understanding of CI/CD workflows and are excited to improve automation and operational practices under the guidance of senior engineers. You are detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards in documentation and process reliability.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with software engineers, security, and platform teams to understand workflows and document repeatable procedures. You are proactive in seeking feedback and are open to learning from more experienced team members, ensuring that you grow your skills and contribute effectively to the team's success.

What you'll do

In this role, you will support build, deployment, and configuration management activities for applications and services. You will assist with the upkeep of CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting pipeline failures, and improving pipeline reliability while documenting usage for future reference. Your responsibilities will include implementing and maintaining automation for routine operational tasks, such as environment setup and basic health checks.

You will participate in incident response as appropriate for your level, following established runbooks and escalating issues when necessary. Contributing to post-incident follow-ups by updating documentation will be a key part of your role, ensuring that the team learns from each incident. You will also support monitoring and alerting hygiene, providing suggestions for alert tuning and dashboard updates while validating logs and metrics under direction.
