Network Engineer • Senior

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on enterprise network infrastructure design and implementation. Your expertise includes working with Fortinet technologies such as FortiGate firewalls, FortiSwitches, and FortiAPs, ensuring secure and efficient network operations.

You are familiar with modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and have experience with network automation, which allows you to streamline processes and enhance network reliability. Your knowledge of cloud networking architectures, particularly in AWS and Azure, positions you as a key player in supporting network modernization initiatives.

You embrace Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) fundamentals, ensuring that network services are reliable, scalable, and observable. Your collaborative spirit shines through as you work closely with Infrastructure Engineering, Security, Cloud Operations, and DevOps teams to achieve common goals.

Desirable

Experience with FortiSASE for secure remote access and SD-WAN connectivity is a plus, as is familiarity with network performance monitoring and troubleshooting techniques. You are proactive in managing and optimizing network access control through FortiNAC, ensuring device visibility and authentication.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of LendingTree's enterprise network infrastructure. You will serve as a subject matter expert in our Fortinet-based environment, collaborating with various teams to support network modernization and automation initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include designing and maintaining the network infrastructure, managing FortiSASE for secure remote access, and administering FortiNAC for device visibility and network segmentation. You will also participate in an on-call rotation to support critical network infrastructure, ensuring that services remain operational and efficient.

You will monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance reliability and scalability. Your contributions will directly impact the overall performance and security of LendingTree's network services, making you an integral part of the team.
