Job Description
Who you are
You are a native Japanese speaker with a strong background in machine learning and a passion for improving LLM capabilities in Japanese. You enjoy building LLM pipelines and agents for diverse use cases, and you thrive on the challenge of adapting foundation models to new languages and cultures. Your experience includes a deep understanding of the Japanese model evaluation landscape and familiarity with Japanese pre-training data sources.
You have experience using modeling and inference tools such as Hugging Face inference, vLLM, and cloud APIs. You are motivated by the challenge of ensuring datasets meet enterprise-grade quality and coverage, and you have a knack for identifying and curating diverse high-quality Japanese text, audio, and multimodal datasets.
What you'll do
In this role, you will identify, collect, and curate diverse high-quality Japanese datasets to enhance our Liquid Foundation Models. You will design methods to synthetically generate or augment Japanese training data when needed, ensuring that the datasets meet the high standards required for enterprise applications. Your work will directly contribute to the development of efficient AI systems that operate on-device and at the edge, under real-time constraints.
You will collaborate with a team of world-class engineers and researchers, shaping the architecture of intelligence itself. Your contributions will help redefine what is possible with AI, enabling enterprise deployments across various sectors including consumer electronics, automotive, life sciences, and financial services. You will be part of a community that values great talent and innovative ideas, working together to create the next generation of AI.
What we offer
At Liquid AI, we offer a dynamic work environment where your contributions will have a direct impact on the future of AI technology. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that challenge the status quo and push the boundaries of what AI can achieve. We believe in fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning, providing you with the resources and support you need to grow in your career.
Join us in our mission to build efficient AI systems at every scale, and be part of a team that is not just iterating on old ideas, but architecting what comes next. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value curiosity and a growth mindset just as much as technical skills.
