What you'll do
As a Senior Android Engineer on the Mobile Foundations team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the foundational systems that all Lyft mobile engineers rely on. Your work will involve building scalable infrastructure that enables teams across Lyft to deliver rich experiences that connect people and places. You will ensure that Lyft's mobile applications remain stable, scalable, and efficient, contributing directly to the overall stability of the platform.
You will collaborate closely with other engineers to enhance the mobile developer experience, helping them move fast and innovate. Your role will require you to adhere to excellent development practices and contribute to rapid releases, ensuring that the codebase remains robust and maintainable. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and share your expertise in Kotlin and mobile development best practices.
What we offer
Lyft offers a competitive salary range for this position in the San Francisco area, between $148,000 and $185,000, not including potential equity offerings, bonuses, or benefits.
