You have 5+ years of software development experience, particularly in mobile applications, and are proficient in Android development. You thrive in collaborative environments, working cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Your passion for engineering excellence drives you to tackle complex challenges and innovate in the fitness technology space.
You possess a strong understanding of software architecture and are skilled in identifying opportunities for improvement in code coverage and tooling. Your experience includes troubleshooting customer issues and performing root cause analysis to enhance product quality. You are committed to building a quality-driven engineering culture that values teamwork and continuous improvement.
Desirable
Experience with embedded systems or consumer electronics is a plus, as is familiarity with computer vision technologies. You are adaptable and open to learning new technologies that can enhance user experiences in fitness applications.
What you'll do
In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust features for the Tonal Smart Home Gym, focusing on intelligence and personalization. You will collaborate closely with product and design teams to elevate the user journey and create seamless experiences. Your contributions will directly impact the engineering capabilities of the team and drive innovation across the platform.
You will coordinate with both onshore and offshore teams to streamline development and testing activities, ensuring that product deliverables meet high standards of quality. As part of your responsibilities, you will identify areas for architectural improvement and propose creative solutions to enhance the overall product.
You will also play a key role in troubleshooting and triaging customer issues, using your analytical skills to perform root cause analysis and suggest improvements. Your work will help shape the future of fitness technology, making a meaningful impact on users' lives.
