Who you are

5+ years of backend engineering experience building production systems at scale — you've owned services from design through deployment and have tackled complex distributed systems challenges. Your expertise in Java and familiarity with AI technologies, particularly LLMs, allows you to create innovative solutions that enhance user experiences.

You have a strong understanding of real-time data streaming and how to integrate AI capabilities into existing systems. Your experience with omnichannel platforms means you can effectively design systems that support various communication channels, ensuring seamless customer interactions.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working alongside product managers and designers to influence product strategy. Your ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is a key asset, enabling you to advocate for the needs of both the engineering team and the customer support agents.

Desirable

Experience with case management platforms or customer support systems is a plus. Familiarity with cloud technologies and microservices architecture will help you excel in this role, as you will be contributing to a multi-year infrastructure transformation.
