Overview
Mark43 is hiring a Mobile Engineer to develop public safety software for both Android and iOS platforms. You'll work with Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform to create scalable applications. This role is remote and open to candidates in Canada, the UK, and various U.S. states.
Job Description
Who you are
You are a Mobile Engineer with experience in developing applications for both Android and iOS platforms. You have a strong understanding of Kotlin and are familiar with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) and Compose Multiplatform (CMP). You are passionate about building scalable and elegant software solutions that enhance public safety.
You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile applications. You are committed to embracing diversity and understand the importance of creating inclusive technology that serves diverse communities.
What you'll do
In this role, you will play a critical part in developing the Android and iOS versions of Mark43's public safety software. You will leverage Kotlin Multiplatform to ensure that the applications are efficient and maintainable. You will collaborate closely with other engineers, designers, and product managers to shape the mobile experience and ensure that it meets the needs of first responders.
You will be responsible for writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews to uphold the quality of the software. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to architectural decisions and help shape the future of mobile development at Mark43.
