Markforged is seeking a Test Engineer to support the development and execution of function tests for hardware products. You'll work closely with engineering teams to ensure quality standards are met. Who you are

You are an entry-level Test Engineer with a strong foundation in engineering principles and a keen interest in quality assurance. You thrive in collaborative environments and have the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. Your multitasking skills enable you to manage various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. You are eager to learn and grow within the field of operations engineering, contributing to the development of innovative manufacturing solutions.

Desirable

Experience with hardware testing or quality assurance processes is a plus, as is familiarity with telemetry and manufacturing data systems. A background in electro-mechanical assemblies or related fields would be beneficial, but not required. You are open to feedback and continuously seek to improve your skills and knowledge in the engineering domain.

What you'll do

As a Test Engineer I on the Operations Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and execution of function tests for Markforged hardware products. You will assist in the generation and validation of calibration and system-level testing, ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include utilizing real-world data to design and build systems and software for the validation of critical-to-quality specifications and functional requirements. You will also support the creation of automated tests, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.

You will collaborate closely with contract manufacturers and suppliers, as well as with the test, manufacturing, and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and quality assurance throughout the product lifecycle. Your role will involve monitoring and controlling device deployment using advanced telemetry, which is essential for maintaining high performance and reliability in our products. You will be expected to document your findings and communicate results effectively to your team, helping to drive continuous improvement in our testing processes.
