Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. With 3 years of experience in a test engineering or related autonomous vehicle development role, you possess a detailed knowledge of autonomous vehicle hardware and software. Your experience with Linux command line and data logging tools is essential, and you are proficient in Python or MATLAB for data parsing and analysis. You are an open-minded and collaborative team player, willing to help others and maintain effective communication with various stakeholders.

Desirable

Experience leading test campaigns and a strong understanding of vehicle dynamics will set you apart. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Your ability to travel as needed is also a plus.

What you'll do

In this role, you will work closely with Waabi engineers to prepare test plans and vehicle systems for test evolutions. You will coordinate and execute closed course and on-road test plans, generating detailed test reports that document vehicle performance. Curating test schedules and coordinating testing resources will be part of your daily responsibilities. You will collaborate with the operations team to maintain effective and timely communication between drivers, engineers, and additional company stakeholders. Supporting the operations team with vehicle system inspections, maintenance, and record-keeping will also be crucial to your role. Maintaining a safe and organized work environment at the facility is essential to ensure smooth operations.
