Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in infrastructure security, with a strong focus on cloud environments and securing CI/CD pipelines. Your expertise in AWS and Docker allows you to design and implement robust security measures that protect critical infrastructure. You thrive in high-impact environments and enjoy solving complex technical challenges, particularly in the realm of decentralized systems.

Your background includes hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Linux, enabling you to effectively manage and secure containerized applications. You are familiar with detection and monitoring systems, having built solutions that ensure early threat detection and effective incident response. Your collaborative nature allows you to work closely with DevOps and engineering teams to embed security practices into every aspect of the development lifecycle.

Desirable

Experience with Terraform and other infrastructure as code tools is a plus, as is familiarity with incident response frameworks and security best practices in open-source environments. You are motivated by the mission of protecting decentralized infrastructure and are eager to contribute to the advancement of freedom through technology.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and implement secure infrastructure for zkSync, focusing on hardening cloud environments and securing CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with engineering teams to ensure that security is integrated into the development process from the ground up. Your responsibilities will include building detection and monitoring systems to enhance threat detection capabilities and streamline incident response efforts.

You will also work on securing application and systems layers, ensuring that all components of the infrastructure are protected against potential vulnerabilities. Your role will involve conducting security assessments and audits, as well as providing guidance on best practices for secure system design. You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of security awareness within the organization, helping to educate team members on the importance of security in their daily work.
