What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager for the Database Platform Team, you will be responsible for building and leading a high-impact engineering team — you will own the technical roadmap and ensure the delivery of a unified database platform that meets the needs of hundreds of engineers across Meesho. Your role will blend system design, automation, and developer experience, focusing on creating a reliable and cost-efficient database ecosystem.

You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that the database systems are scalable and easy to use — this involves overseeing the technical aspects of database management and ensuring that best practices are followed. You will also be involved in mentoring your team members, providing guidance on technical challenges, and helping them develop their skills.

In addition to technical leadership, you will play a key role in shaping the culture of your team — you will conduct regular one-on-ones to support your team’s growth and foster an environment where feedback is welcomed and valued. You will also be responsible for hiring and building a diverse team that can tackle the challenges of a rapidly growing e-commerce platform.
