What you'll do

As a Tech Lead Manager at Mercor, you will spend half of your time writing code and the other half leading and mentoring your engineering team. You will ensure that the core infrastructure and product development keep pace with the company's rapid growth. Your role will involve collaborating with researchers and operators to shape the future of Mercor's engineering organization. You will work on projects that enhance frontier AI model capabilities, contributing to the development of systems that redefine society.

You will be responsible for fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration within your team. This includes conducting code reviews, providing feedback, and ensuring best practices are followed. You will also play a key role in scaling the engineering team, identifying talent, and helping to onboard new members effectively. Your leadership will directly impact the success of Mercor's engineering initiatives as the company continues to expand.
