Meta is hiring a Camera Architect to lead the development of camera and sensing technology architectures. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and support the product lifecycle. Who you are

You have extensive experience in camera and sensing technology, with a proven track record of leading architectural development against product requirements. You thrive in ambiguous situations, mapping complex trade spaces to user experience details, and are skilled at synthesizing inputs from various teams into a cohesive strategy. Your technical communication skills allow you to effectively collaborate with component and module teams as well as cross-functional partners, ensuring alignment across the product stack.

You are adept at nurturing and growing technology roadmaps, supporting product visions, and understanding critical use cases. Your ability to brainstorm innovative ideas and develop new technology is complemented by your experience in managing risks and challenges throughout the product lifecycle. You are comfortable working with diverse teams, including Product Management, Experiences, and Image Quality teams, to distill module requirements and drive hardware integrations.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the definition and development of camera and sensing technology architectures, ensuring they align with product requirements. You will support the progression of camera technologies through their product lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address risks and challenges. Your responsibilities will include nurturing camera and sensing roadmaps, synthesizing inputs from various stakeholders, and developing a cohesive strategy that supports the overall product vision.

You will partner closely with Product Management and other teams to understand critical use cases, translating them into module requirements that inform product design. Your role will involve technical communication across the product stack, ensuring that all teams are aligned and informed. You will also be responsible for brainstorming big ideas and developing new technology, contributing to the innovative culture at Meta.
