Who you are

You are an IT professional with advanced, hands-on technical skills in server hardware and Linux — ideally in a Data Center environment. You possess broad knowledge of server administration and have participated in projects within a large-scale distributed data center environment, which is a core competency of yours. Your experience includes hardware repair, OS management, tooling and automation, networking, and technical project management. You thrive in environments that require both technical expertise and collaborative problem-solving.

Desirable

Experience with automation tools and scripting languages is a plus, as is familiarity with cloud services and virtualization technologies. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining server hardware and Linux systems within the data center. You will troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, ensuring optimal performance and uptime. Your responsibilities will include participating in technical projects that enhance the efficiency of data center operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, and contributing to the development of automation tools that streamline processes. You will also be involved in hardware repair and OS management, ensuring that all systems are running smoothly and efficiently.

You will work closely with other IT professionals to ensure that all data center operations align with Meta's standards and protocols. Your role will require you to stay updated on the latest technologies and trends in data center management, allowing you to bring innovative solutions to the team.
