You have proven experience in embedded development with firmware development and prototyping electronics β your expertise in programming languages such as Python and C/C++ allows you to create efficient solutions. You have practical robotics experience in Linux, developing firmware for microcontrollers, and prototyping electronics. Your system-level thinking enables you to develop key electrical architectures from scratch, anticipating the needs of hardware-software integration. You are a proactive problem solver who adapts effectively in dynamic environments and is eager to leverage emerging technologies to drive innovation in robotics. Your strong communication, leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills make you an effective collaborator with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
What you'll do
As a Robotics Firmware & Electrical Engineer at Meta, you will be responsible for the design, development, manufacturing, deployment, and sustaining of robotics hardware solutions throughout the product life cycles. You will collaborate closely with software and system engineers to ensure seamless product integration, enhancing operational efficiency and reducing risks across Metaβs infrastructure. Your role will involve implementing cutting-edge robotics technologies to enable efficient and operationally safer data centers. You will work in small, agile teams, solving complex problems and driving innovation in robotics. This position may require some domestic and international travel, allowing you to engage with teams and projects across various locations.
