Who you are

You are a highly experienced energy professional with a strong background in managing clean and renewable energy contracts. You have a proven track record of overseeing projects throughout their construction, development, and operational phases, ensuring compliance with all contract terms and conditions. Your expertise in carbon reduction initiatives sets you apart, as you understand the complexities involved in managing a portfolio of energy contracts.

You possess excellent negotiation skills, allowing you to effectively support contract negotiations and coordinate amendments as necessary. Your attention to detail ensures that all contract documents and data are meticulously maintained, and you are adept at monitoring project development and construction statuses. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with various stakeholders to achieve project goals.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be a key contributor to Meta's Global Energy Team, responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of renewable energy and carbon reduction contracts. You will oversee all aspects of contract compliance, ensuring that all terms are met and that projects are executed efficiently. Your role will involve monitoring financial and operational project performance metrics, comparing budgeted figures against actual results to identify areas for improvement.

You will coordinate with project teams to track development and construction progress, addressing any issues that arise to keep projects on schedule. Your ability to enforce contract terms regarding costs, renewable energy certificates (RECs), and performance will be crucial in maintaining the integrity of Meta's energy initiatives. You will also play a vital role in reporting on project statuses and outcomes to senior management, providing insights that drive strategic decisions.
