You are a commercially-experienced energy professional with a proven track record in utility negotiations and managing energy supply issues. You have a strong understanding of both regulated and organized markets, including WECC and RTO markets like ERCOT and SPP. Your expertise spans commercial, regulatory, market, technical, and financial aspects of energy supply, making you a well-rounded candidate for this role.

You possess a self-motivated attitude and are driven to ensure a reliable, cost-effective, and sustainable energy supply for Meta's data centers. Your experience in managing electricity regulation and utility relationships will be crucial in supporting the company's global energy strategy. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to the growth and management of Meta's data center portfolio.

What you'll do

In this role, you will help develop and execute Meta's energy strategy, focusing on a supply portfolio of cost-competitive clean and renewable energy sources. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure that the energy supply aligns with the company's strategic objectives. Your responsibilities will include managing utility relationships and navigating the complexities of electricity regulation and policy.

You will also be tasked with analyzing market trends and identifying opportunities for improvement in energy procurement. Your insights will help shape Meta's approach to energy management, ensuring that the company remains at the forefront of sustainable energy practices.
