What you'll do

As the Director of Employee Relations at Meta, you will lead a team of Employee Relations Managers and Business Partners, providing them with the support and resources they need to succeed. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that enhance employee engagement and address workplace conflicts. Your role will involve collaborating closely with people managers to ensure they have the tools and knowledge necessary to manage performance issues effectively.

You will assess various types of risks associated with employee relations and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them. This includes conducting training sessions for managers on best practices in performance management and conflict resolution. You will also play a key role in shaping the culture of the organization, ensuring that it aligns with Meta's values of innovation and inclusivity.

In addition to your strategic responsibilities, you will be hands-on in addressing employee concerns and facilitating resolutions. You will work closely with HR and legal teams to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and you will be instrumental in driving initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture.
