Who you are

You are a Mechanical Engineer with experience in the design and construction of critical facilities — you understand the intricacies of data center operations and the importance of reliable infrastructure. Your expertise allows you to navigate both micro-level details, such as server and IT equipment design requirements, and macro-level considerations like mechanical cooling and power distribution options.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with internal teams such as Construction, Quality, Safety, and Facility Operations, as well as external partners like engineering consultants and general contractors. Your ability to communicate effectively ensures that all stakeholders are aligned and that projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

You possess a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and are adept at using tools like AutoCAD to create detailed designs. Your problem-solving skills enable you to address challenges that arise during the design and construction phases, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

You are committed to continuous improvement and efficiency in data center operations — you stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies that can enhance performance and reliability.

Desirable

Experience with data center design and construction is a plus, as is familiarity with regulatory requirements and safety standards in the industry. A background in project management can also be beneficial, as you will be acting as a Design Owner Representative.
