What you'll do

As a Battery Systems Engineer at Meta, you will take ownership of the battery pack electrical designs, ensuring they integrate seamlessly into the state-of-the-art devices developed by Reality Labs. You will work closely with product engineering teams to define battery requirements, focusing on optimizing for volume, weight, and run time. Your role will involve providing build support during New Product Introduction activities, ensuring that manufacturing processes align with design intent.

Collaboration will be key in this role, as you will work with safety, reliability, operations, software, and other cross-functional partners to integrate the battery into the final system. You will also support final assembly activities at supplier sites, ensuring proper integration of the battery into the final system. Additionally, you will assist the sourcing team with cost analysis, supplier audits, and market analysis, contributing to the overall success of the product development process.
