What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for the manufacturing design and development of Meta Smart Glasses. You will work closely with the Technical Operations team to provide early and ongoing manufacturing involvement, ensuring that new products are manufacturable from concept through to mass production. Your role will involve defining and implementing best practices in manufacturing processes, which will directly impact product quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
You will partner with various teams, including Hardware Engineering, SIE, Quality, and Test Engineering, to address complex manufacturing challenges. Your insights will help shape the design of products, making them easier to manufacture and ensuring they meet the high standards expected by Meta. You will also be involved in continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging your expertise to enhance manufacturing efficiency and effectiveness.
