You have a strong background in manufacturing test engineering, particularly in calibration processes for AR/VR products. Your experience includes working with computer vision, robotics, and sensor fusion technologies, allowing you to deliver comprehensive tracking calibration solutions. You are a self-driven individual who thrives in cross-functional team environments, collaborating with product designers, electrical engineers, and computer vision scientists to drive conceptual hardware design.
You possess excellent problem-solving skills and are adept at troubleshooting hardware and software issues on test and calibration systems. Your ability to document and communicate effectively ensures that you bridge the gap between development and production, maintaining high standards of manufacturability and testability. You are committed to delivering cost-effective solutions that meet the highest quality standards.
Desirable
Experience with both New Technology Introduction (NTI) and New Product Introduction (NPI) developments is a plus, as is familiarity with advanced algorithms and calibration software pipelines. Your knowledge of robotic and motion platform control will enhance your contributions to the team.
What you'll do
As a Manufacturing Test Engineer for Calibration at Meta, you will lead the end-to-end development of software and hardware integration for AR/VR products. This includes designing and implementing calibration software pipelines, instrument control, and data capture processes. You will validate the first article in the lab or onsite, ensuring that all systems meet the required specifications before mass production.
You will collaborate closely with internal and external partners during the product exploration phase, driving the conceptual design of hardware solutions. Your role will involve documenting processes and troubleshooting any issues that arise during testing and calibration, ensuring a seamless transition to production.
