Who you are
You have a strong background in network infrastructure design, with experience in developing and delivering solutions at scale in data centers or globally distributed Point of Presences (POPs). Your expertise in Cisco technologies allows you to tackle complex networking challenges effectively. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with cross-functional teams to drive execution and meet infrastructure design requirements.
You are detail-oriented and understand the importance of capacity-driven expansion in network infrastructure. Your ability to analyze and optimize space, power, cooling, and connectivity requirements is crucial for supporting Meta's global network reach. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to innovative solutions that enhance connectivity.
What you'll do
As a Network Engineer on the Edge & Network Services (ENS) team, you will play a key role in shaping the future of Meta's global network. You will collaborate with design, planning, and deployment teams to develop infrastructure design requirements that support the expansion of Meta’s Edge/Backbone network. Your responsibilities will include driving the execution of these needs within Meta’s global colocation spaces, including POPs, Cable Landing Stations, and Backbone midpoint sites.
You will be involved in capacity planning and will ensure that the network infrastructure meets the demands of North America and Latin America regions. Your role will require you to stay updated on the latest networking technologies and trends, allowing you to propose innovative solutions that enhance network performance and reliability.
