What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of Meta's global core IP networks, specifically the Express Backbone. You will work on routing platforms and protocols that connect Meta's data centers, ensuring robust and efficient communication. Your contributions will directly impact the scalability and reliability of one of the largest backbone networks in the world.
You will collaborate with various teams to understand network demands and develop solutions that meet those needs. This includes participating in the expansion of the backbone network to accommodate machine-to-machine traffic and integrating public cloud locations to enhance computing capabilities. Your role will involve continuous learning and adaptation to new technologies as the network evolves.
