You have a strong background in policy development, particularly in energy issues, with direct experience at the state or federal levels. Your ability to engage with various stakeholders and communicate complex policy matters effectively is essential. You are outgoing and can build relationships with regional policy teams and business units to drive Meta's infrastructure goals forward. You understand the importance of data center operations and how they impact local communities, ensuring that your policy strategies align with Meta's mission of fostering human connection through technology.
Desirable
Experience in the technology sector, particularly within large organizations, is a plus. Familiarity with energy policy and its implications for infrastructure development will set you apart. You are proactive in identifying policy opportunities and challenges, and you are skilled at navigating the complexities of governmental processes. What you'll do
In this role, you will collaborate with the Economic Policy team to shape Meta's strategic engagement on policy issues that affect our data center infrastructure. You will be responsible for developing and implementing policy strategies that support our energy goals and operational efficiency. This includes conducting research, analyzing policy impacts, and engaging with stakeholders at all levels to advocate for Meta's interests. You will work closely with regional teams to ensure alignment on policy initiatives and to address any challenges that arise in the implementation of these strategies.
You will also monitor legislative developments and regulatory changes that could impact Meta's operations, providing timely insights and recommendations to the leadership team. Your role will involve preparing reports and presentations to communicate policy positions and strategies effectively. You will be a key player in fostering relationships with government officials, industry groups, and other stakeholders to advance Meta's policy objectives.
