You are pursuing a PhD in a relevant field and have a strong foundation in machine learning and deep learning principles. Your experience with Python and data analysis tools allows you to effectively contribute to research projects and optimize algorithms for performance. You have a keen interest in AI technologies and their application at scale, particularly in datacenter environments.
You possess excellent analytical skills and can identify performance bottlenecks in existing systems. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams enables you to co-optimize software and hardware solutions effectively. You are eager to learn and adapt, contributing to the development of kernel libraries that leverage hardware architectural features for enhanced performance.
What you'll do
As a Research Scientist Intern, you will be part of the MTIA Software team, focusing on the exploration and development of high-performance software and hardware technologies for AI. You will work on optimizing AI production models and contribute to the development of AI frameworks that accelerate deep learning and machine learning workloads. Your role will involve analyzing existing systems to identify performance bottlenecks and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency.
You will collaborate closely with engineers and researchers to develop kernel libraries that exploit various hardware features, ensuring high performance for inference and training workloads. Throughout your internship, you will gain hands-on experience in a cutting-edge environment, contributing to impactful projects that shape the future of AI at Meta.
