What you'll do
In this role, you will serve as the Principal Corporate Counsel for the Azure engineering group, providing high-quality legal advice on a wide range of issues. You will engage deeply with engineering clients to understand their technical concepts and strategies, ensuring that legal considerations are integrated into product development processes. Your responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating technology collaboration and licensing agreements, as well as providing thought leadership on emerging legal issues.
You will work closely with colleagues across the Corporate External and Legal Affairs (CELA) team to address complex legal challenges and develop effective solutions. Your role will require you to stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes, allowing you to proactively advise on compliance and risk management strategies. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior attorneys and contribute to the overall success of the legal team.
