Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in product design, with experience in creating user-centered designs that enhance customer experiences. You are comfortable working closely with Product and Engineering teams, refining problems and exploring solutions to deliver impactful designs. Your skills in front-end frameworks, particularly React, allow you to contribute design changes independently with minimal engineering support. Bonus skills in illustration, branding, motion design, or photography are a plus, showcasing your versatility as a designer.
What you'll do
As a Product Designer at Middesk, you will own the end-to-end design process, from discovery through delivery. You will design intuitive experiences that empower customers to make informed compliance and risk decisions in highly regulated industries. Collaborating closely with Product and Engineering partners, you will refine problems and explore solutions, ensuring that your designs strike the right balance between user needs and business goals. You will guide the evolution of the product's design over time, partnering closely with engineers to ensure high-quality, scalable implementation. Your hands-on contributions will be valued, and you will have the opportunity to shape the user experience significantly.
What we offer
Middesk follows a hybrid work model, expecting you to be in the San Francisco office two days a week while also supporting flexibility. You will be part of a dynamic team that values in-person collaboration and strong connections among team members. The company is backed by notable investors and has been recognized as an industry leader in business verification, providing you with the opportunity to work on impactful projects that transform business identity verification processes.
