You have 5+ years of experience in backend engineering, focusing on building production systems that scale effectively. Your expertise in Java and C# allows you to create robust backend solutions that meet user needs. You are familiar with API design and have experience maintaining technical documentation, ensuring that your work is well-documented and accessible to your team. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product managers and other engineers to understand requirements and guide technical solutions. You are committed to following engineering best practices, including writing tests and adhering to coding standards.

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure would be a plus, as well as familiarity with agile methodologies. You are open to mentoring junior engineers and participating in code reviews, contributing to the growth of your team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and develop high-quality backend systems across web, mobile, and enterprise applications. You will collaborate with users, product managers, and other engineers to understand requirements and guide technical solutions. Your responsibilities will include performing system analysis and recommending improvements to enhance performance, reliability, and security. You will create and maintain APIs, frameworks, services, and utilities to support feature development at scale. Leading by example, you will implement team-wide coding standards and best practices, ensuring that your team delivers high-quality software. You will also maintain technical documentation and contribute to architectural discussions, helping to shape the direction of your projects. Participating in peer code reviews and mentoring junior engineers will be key aspects of your role, as you help to foster a culture of learning and collaboration within your team.
