Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong attention to detail and are enthusiastic about managing payroll activities across multiple APAC countries. You understand the importance of compliance with statutory regulations and have experience liaising with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure payroll accuracy and timeliness. You are skilled in processing new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, and pay increases accurately and in a timely manner. You are familiar with statutory filings, including social security and tax filings, and understand the nuances of payroll management in different countries. You are a collaborative team player who works closely with HR to maintain accurate employee payroll records.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of payroll activities for Mintel's APAC region. You will ensure that all employees are paid accurately on scheduled payment dates and that all payroll processes are compliant with local regulations. You will collaborate with external payroll vendors to ensure smooth operations and timely submissions of statutory filings. Your role will involve preparing monthly payments and journal entries for the Finance GL team, including reconciling records and conducting payroll post-mortems. You will also be involved in headcount budgeting and will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure accurate employee data is provided. Your contributions will help maintain a high standard of payroll management within the organization.
