You have a proven track record in leading engineering teams, ideally with experience in payments or financial technology. You understand the importance of delivering value to customers consistently, balancing speed and quality in your team's output. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to shape product direction and strategy. You are passionate about mentoring and coaching engineers, helping them build confidence and take on new challenges.

Desirable

Experience in the payments domain or with point-of-sale systems would be a plus. Familiarity with omni-channel platforms and terminal devices can enhance your contributions to the team. A background in large-scale system architecture will help you provide valuable insights and guidance to your team.

What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager at Mollie, you will lead a growing engineering team focused on improving payment solutions across omni-channel platforms. You will be responsible for the technical roadmap and delivery of the in-person payments terminal solution, ensuring that your team consistently delivers high-quality products. You will collaborate with product, finance, and support teams to align on strategy and product direction, representing your team in technical discussions with key partners. Your role will involve hands-on leadership, where you will actively participate in coding and architectural decisions, guiding your team through complex challenges. You will foster a culture of feedback and continuous improvement, encouraging your team to learn from each other and grow together. You will also be responsible for performance management and career development, conducting regular one-on-ones to support your team's growth.
