Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, and ideally a CPA certification. With over 5 years of experience in a global revenue accounting team or 3+ years in a Big 4 firm, you possess a strong understanding of revenue operations and financial reporting. Your experience includes working with sales data, customer contracts, and product offerings, making you well-equipped for this role. You are detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment, ready to contribute to a high-performing team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will support the month-end close process, ensuring accurate financial reporting of revenue. You will book entries to the general ledger and represent the revenue team during product rollouts. Drafting technical accounting memos and performing ad hoc analysis will also be part of your responsibilities. You will collaborate closely with various teams to manage contract negotiations and determine appropriate accounting treatment for MongoDB's product offerings. Your contributions will help design and maintain controls over revenue reporting and assist in quarterly forecasting activities.
