Who you are

You have over 10 years of technical consulting experience in Principal-level roles, particularly in Solutions Architecture, Developer Advocacy, or Enterprise Consulting. Your recognized technical leadership is complemented by deep hands-on experience implementing solutions that modernize legacy applications and build GenAI applications. You excel at engaging and influencing executives and technical decision-makers, particularly within Fortune 1000 companies, to create awareness and understanding of MongoDB's products.

Your ability to align with sales teams and work collaboratively with a Strategic Developer Relations team, which consists of senior engineers with extensive MongoDB experience, is a key strength. You are adept at developing and delivering technical engagements and targeted education sessions that resonate with diverse audiences. You maintain a deep technical expertise in MongoDB's products and solutions, as well as industry trends and competitors' offerings, ensuring you are always at the forefront of the field.

You are skilled at gathering feedback and assessing customer sentiment, which allows you to influence product roadmaps effectively and advocate for customer needs. Your experience includes representing MongoDB at industry conferences, trade shows, and technical events, where you contribute to thought leadership through blog posts, whitepapers, and speaking engagements.

Desirable

Experience with GenAI applications and a strong understanding of modern software development practices will set you apart. Familiarity with cloud technologies and a passion for developer advocacy are also highly valued.

What you'll do

In this pivotal role, you will drive the adoption of MongoDB among our most strategic customers by engaging senior technical leadership. You will work closely with sales teams to develop strategies that position MongoDB as the ideal solution for modernizing legacy applications. Your responsibilities will include creating and delivering technical engagements that educate customers on the benefits of MongoDB's offerings.

You will gather and analyze customer feedback to influence product development and ensure that MongoDB's solutions meet the evolving needs of the market. Additionally, you will represent MongoDB at various industry events, showcasing your expertise and promoting the company's vision and products.

Your role will also involve collaborating with the Strategic Developer Relations team to enhance technical knowledge and skills within the organization. You will contribute to the development of educational materials and resources that empower customers and partners to leverage MongoDB effectively.
