You have 6+ years of software engineering experience, demonstrating a strong ability to lead complex projects and mentor teammates. Your fluency in TypeScript and JavaScript allows you to contribute effectively to cloud engineering initiatives, while your proficiency in Java, Go, or C++ equips you with the skills to tackle a variety of technical challenges. You have experience writing database queries and indexes, which is essential for optimizing performance in customer-facing features. Your collaborative spirit shines through as you work in cross-functional squads, focusing on metrics that drive customer retention and satisfaction.
Desirable
Experience with cloud engineering and familiarity with MongoDB's developer data platform would be advantageous. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are eager to suggest and implement improvements to products and processes.
What you'll do
As a Senior Software Engineer in the Atlas Growth team, you will lead the development of customer-facing features in Atlas, including personalized landing pages and recommendation systems. You will collaborate closely with product, design, analytics, and research teams to ensure that the features you build positively impact customer experiences. Your role will involve shaping the technical direction of the team, proactively suggesting improvements, and mentoring junior engineers. You will also participate in the validation of features through an in-house experiments platform, ensuring that only the most effective work is released to customers.
