What you'll do

In this role, you will own the planning and execution of MongoDB Server security hardening efforts — this includes developing clear roadmaps that align with both security and product goals. You will lead programs that strengthen the security posture of MongoDB Server and its components, ensuring that they meet the expectations of demanding customers.

You will work closely with engineering teams to build a developer-driven security program, integrating security practices into existing workflows and tooling. Your responsibilities will also include acting as a subject matter expert on security for the tech stack and products, guiding teams on best practices and coding patterns that mitigate security risks.

You will be responsible for monitoring the progress of security initiatives, reporting on outcomes, and adjusting strategies as necessary to address emerging threats. Your role will require you to stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies, ensuring that MongoDB remains at the forefront of security innovation.
