Your expertise in data security features such as IAM, Encryption, and Compliance allows you to navigate complex regulatory environments effectively.

You possess a strong understanding of evolving threats in data security and can translate customer needs into actionable product features — your ability to partner with engineering and other cross-functional teams ensures that security initiatives align with broader business goals. You are data-driven and can define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of security initiatives.

Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including legal, research, product marketing, and sales teams — you understand the importance of building customer trust in critical data workloads. You are proactive in proposing new innovations and best practices from the industry to enhance MongoDB's security offerings.

What you'll do

As a Senior Product Manager on the Security team, you will be responsible for developing a comprehensive vision for data security features that differentiate MongoDB in the market — you will create a prioritized product roadmap and backlog to execute against this vision. You will work closely with engineering to ensure that security features are implemented effectively and meet customer needs.

You will deepen your understanding of evolving threats and technologies in data security, using customer feedback to drive product innovation — your role will involve defining and implementing KPIs to measure the success of security initiatives. You will also partner with various teams to ensure that security features align with customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
