What you'll do
In this role, you will design, architect, build, and deliver core components of the Atlas Data Federation system, focusing on storage systems and the query engine. You will lead projects from specification to delivery, collaborating closely with other teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality. Your responsibilities will include mentoring junior team members, guiding them through technical challenges, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
You will also be involved in enhancing the customer experience by implementing features that allow users to query and analyze data across multiple sources without moving or copying the underlying data. Your work will directly impact the performance of the Atlas Data Federation system, which processes hundreds of millions of queries per month. You will have the opportunity to contribute to high-growth projects that shape the future of data management at MongoDB.
