Who you are

You have 8-11 years of experience in a customer-facing role, with a minimum of 3 years in pre-sales for enterprise software. Your background includes working with modern scripting languages such as Python, Node.js, and SQL, as well as popular programming languages like C/C++, Java, and C#. You possess a strong understanding of designing scalable and highly available distributed systems, both in the cloud and on-premises. Your ability to engage with customers and review complex architectures allows you to provide valuable guidance on improving their existing applications.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with sales executives to solve business problems and drive customer success. Your experience as a trusted advisor to a diverse range of users, from startups to large enterprises, has equipped you with the skills to navigate complex technical discussions and deliver impactful solutions. You are passionate about technology and eager to help customers leverage MongoDB's platform to meet their needs.

Desirable

What you'll do

As a Senior Solutions Architect at MongoDB, you will play a pivotal role in our Pre-Sales organization, ensuring that our growth is supported by strong technical alignment with our platform and customer needs. You will guide customers in designing and building reliable, scalable systems using MongoDB's data platform. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with sales executives to identify customer challenges and providing tailored solutions that leverage our technology.

You will engage with customers to understand their business problems and help them navigate the complexities of their software architecture. By reviewing existing applications, you will offer insights on how to enhance their systems for better performance and reliability. Your expertise will be crucial in winning deals and driving the business forward, as you become a trusted advisor to a wide range of users.

In this role, you will also contribute to the development of best practices and technical documentation that support our sales efforts. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts in an accessible manner will be essential as you work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
