Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in data science, with a strong foundation in statistical analysis and machine learning techniques. You are proficient in SQL and Python, enabling you to manipulate and analyze large datasets effectively. Your experience includes working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making and improve user engagement. You are passionate about using data to solve real-world problems and have a track record of delivering actionable insights that influence product development. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable presenting your findings to stakeholders at all levels. You understand the importance of data quality and have experience implementing best practices in data governance.
Desirable
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker is a plus. Familiarity with financial services or banking data is advantageous but not required. You are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in the data science field.
What you'll do
As a Senior Data Scientist at Monzo, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of banking by leveraging data to enhance user engagement. You will analyze user behavior and product performance, providing insights that will inform product strategy and development. Collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and designers, you will help identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within our banking services.
