You have 5+ years of hands-on experience as a software engineer, demonstrating strong collaboration skills and excellent communication abilities. You are comfortable working in a remote-first environment and are excited about the opportunity to join a diverse team at a pivotal time in the companyβs lifecycle. Your experience includes building tools and automation that help users manage employment compliance, integrating APIs, and building data pipelines. You have a knack for designing and implementing user interfaces that solve real problems for users.
Desirable
Experience with setting up initial infrastructure and continuous integration workflows is a plus. Familiarity with user feedback synthesis and using it to inform future development will help you excel in this role. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with the founder and founding team to build prototypes and MVPs that align with user needs.
What you'll do
In this role, you will build tools and automation that help users manage employment compliance, integrating APIs and building data pipelines to support applications and partners. You will design, implement, and iterate on new features from scratch, ensuring that the UI/UX you create helps users effectively solve their compliance problems. Your responsibilities will also include laying the groundwork for future engineering and product development, setting up initial infrastructure, and establishing continuous integration workflows.
You will work closely with the founder and founding team to build prototypes and MVPs, ensuring that your work aligns with the company's mission and user needs. Your ability to synthesize user feedback will be crucial in informing future development and enhancing the overall user experience.
