Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in full stack development, demonstrating a strong command of both frontend and backend technologies. Your expertise in JavaScript, React, and Node.js allows you to build scalable and performant applications that meet user needs effectively. You possess a deep understanding of system architecture and are comfortable working across various layers of technology, from the user interface to the server-side logic.
You are a natural leader, capable of guiding architecture decisions and mentoring junior engineers. Your excellent communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively within a small, highly collaborative team. You take ownership of your work and are driven by a desire to raise the bar for engineering quality and execution.
Experience with AI-powered features or tools is a plus, as you understand the importance of leveraging advanced technologies to enhance user experiences. You thrive in environments that prioritize clarity, accountability, and impact, and you are eager to contribute to a mission-driven organization.
What you'll do
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at WorkBoard, you will play a critical role in shaping the technical direction of our Strategy Execution Platform. You will design and deliver scalable, reliable systems that power the digital operating rhythm for companies around the globe. Your responsibilities will include hands-on development across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers, ensuring that our platform remains performant and user-friendly.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement features that align with user needs and business goals. Your role will also involve mentoring junior engineers, providing guidance on best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
In addition to development, you will participate in architectural discussions, helping to define the technical roadmap for the platform. You will be expected to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, particularly in the realm of AI, to ensure that WorkBoard remains at the forefront of innovation in strategy execution.
