What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of solutions that span across perception components, directly interfacing with downstream modules in the autonomy system. You will analyze the performance of the perception subsystem, proactively identifying potential limitations and documenting hazards to lead cross-team efforts for mitigation. Your work will involve collaborating on innovative solutions to address long-tail challenges, ensuring that the perception capabilities meet the high standards required for self-driving technology.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and validating end-to-end solutions that enhance the overall functionality of the autonomy system. Your expertise will guide the team in developing techniques for data generation and mining, contributing to the continuous improvement of the perception stack. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and technical excellence within the team.
