Who you are

You have a strong background in test engineering, particularly in the context of autonomous vehicles, with experience in validating complex systems. Your expertise in Python and C++ allows you to develop and execute comprehensive test campaigns effectively. You are familiar with safety-critical standards such as ISO26262 and ISO21448, ensuring compliance in all testing activities. Your experience with Linux and Docker enhances your ability to work in diverse testing environments, including simulation and on-vehicle testing. You are a proactive problem solver who thrives in a collaborative environment, guiding teams towards continuous improvement in testing infrastructure and processes. You understand the importance of operational design domains and can articulate the critical scenarios necessary for robotaxi service reliability.

Desirable

Experience with AWS and CI/CD practices is a plus, as is familiarity with automated testing frameworks. You have a keen interest in the latest advancements in autonomous vehicle technology and are eager to contribute to the commercial readiness of innovative solutions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the planning, design, and execution of validation campaigns across perception, planning, and control systems. You will leverage simulation, Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), and on-vehicle environments to ensure the highest standards of safety and performance. Your responsibilities will include driving test execution and documentation, ensuring that all systems meet compliance with safety-critical standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop test strategies that align with the goals of the robotaxi service. As a technical leader, you will mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of best practices in test engineering. You will also be involved in continuous improvements to the testing infrastructure, ensuring that it meets the evolving needs of the organization as we move towards mass deployment of our technology.
