What you'll do

As the AV Test Operations Manager, you will coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure that testing operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will manage the scheduling of Vehicle Operators and oversee vehicle dispatching, providing backup support as needed. Your role will involve developing and executing long-term operational strategies to enhance team efficiency while maintaining the highest safety standards. You will conduct regular performance management check-ins with your team to ensure that operational goals are met and to identify areas for improvement.

You will also be responsible for mitigating testing disruptions through proactive management and by proposing process improvements. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the safe and reliable operation of Motional’s AV testing and commercial fleet. You will serve as a secondary escalation point for operational issues, ensuring that challenges are addressed promptly and effectively. Your contributions will directly support Motional’s roadmap toward a driverless future, making a significant impact on the company's success.
